What if I already missed this summer's registration?

We've got you for fall. Chicago Park District fall program registration typically opens in late July or August. Sign up now and you'll get an email before it opens. Summer 2026 registration is April 20 and 21, but fall is coming.

Is this official? Are you part of the Chicago Park District?

No. Chicago Helper is independent. We're not affiliated with the Chicago Park District, the City of Chicago, or any government agency. We watch their public calendar and send you an alert. That's it.

What programs does Chicago Helper cover?

Summer day camp, swim lessons, gymnastics, tennis, fitness classes, teen programs, and other seasonal CPD programs. We monitor the Chicago Data Portal API, which covers 10,550 active programs across 600+ parks. Early childhood programs (infant/toddler) are on a separate CPD system and are not in V1.

When will SMS alerts be live?

SMS alerts will be active before fall 2026 registration opens, around August or September. Email alerts start the moment you sign up.

How do I cancel or unsubscribe?

Free subscribers: every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click removes you. Paid subscribers: email us at hello@chicagohelper.com or manage your subscription via the Stripe customer portal link in your confirmation email. We don't make cancellation difficult.
